Alice was a member of the Haymarket Baptist Church for many years, but was attending Antioch Baptist Church in Waterfall at the time of her passing. She served as President of the Haymarket Women's Club, and was a volunteer at the Seven Loaves food pantry in Middleburg. She was an avid quilter and crocheter, and enjoyed many kinds of crafts.
At the time of her passing, she was survived by her husband, one son, one daughter, one grandson, two granddaughters, five sisters, two brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was eagerly awaiting the birth of her first great-grandchild, who was due in August of 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Sandra, and son Stacey.
