Bernard S. "Buck" Abell, 71, of 128 W. 19th St., died Saturday at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital. He was born in Daviess County, was retired from Eck Miller Transfer Co., and was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons, John C. Abell of Tennessee and Robert Abell of California; a brother, Allie Abell of Owensboro and three sisters, Gertrude Ballard and Lillie Hamilton, both of Owensboro, and Mayme Augenstein of Detroit.
Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Catholic Church. Burial in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Visitation after 5 p.m. today at Delbert J. Glenn Funeral Home where prayers will be said at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
