Mearl E. Bratcher, 89 of Dadeville, Mo. passed away on Monday evening, December 7, 2015 in CMH Health Care, Bolivar, MO.
Mearl, the son of James and Ona Bratcher, was born May 26, 1926 at Dawt, MO, near Gainesville, MO. He lived in various areas in Missouri residing in the Ash Grove and Dadeville areas for the past forty years. He was a Federal Meat Inspector for 35 years. He was a member of the Eudora Baptist Church where he enjoyed the fellowship study of the Adult Sunday School Class. He was a fifty year member of the Kansas City Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M. Mearl was an Army Veteran of World War II, serving in Germany in the 3rd Armor Division.
Mearl and Irma F. Conner (the love of his life) were united in marriage on August 29, 1959. Together they were privileged to share over 52 years. Irma preceded him in death on March 12, 2012. Also, preceding him were his parents, two brothers: Earl and Charlie Bratcher, and two sisters; Bertha Bratcher and Esther Fields.
He is survived by son Kenny Bratcher.
Interment in Eudora Cemetery.
