Watie D. Bolin, 59, of Pocola, passed away Friday, Dec. 13, 2002, in Fort Smith. He was born Nov. 4, 1943 at Marble City to Joe Lee Bolin and Narcie Jennie Bush Bolin. He married Judith Ann "Judy" Henderson Bolin on April 19, 1982 at Rockwall, Texas.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Floyd Bolin.
Survivors include his wife of the home; one daughter, Carma Turner of Florida; two stepdaughters, Sherry Rice of Fort Smith and Tammy Hoover of Van Buren; three grandchildren; and one great grandson; his mother Narcie Jennie Bush Bolin of Van Buren; six sisters, Louise Coon of Glenpool, Jennie Lynn Noisey of Sallisaw, Betty Jo Hipp and Carol Susie Ann Brewer, both of Oologah, Juanita Kay Ridenour of Van Buren and Lois Marie Fuller of Tahlequah; three brothers, Joe Junior Bolin of Dallas, Larry Bolin of Fort Smith and Little John Bolin of Sallisaw; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Services were at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16 at Dwight Mission Cemetery at Sallisaw with Crosslin Smith and Frankie Studie officiating. Services under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
Pallbearers were Kevin Rice, Kevin Howerton, Dan Fuller, Brian Noisey, Dennis Noisey and Jonathan Bolin.
Honorary pallbearers were Kenneth Deviney, Robert Vogel and Barry Blaylock.
