GUYMON, Okla. — Norman R. Frenchie Fuerstenau, 86, of Guymon died Sunday, March 8, 2015, in Oklahoma City.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Guymon with Pastor Mark Wescoatt officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements are by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon.

Mr. Fuerstenau was born July 13, 1928, in Watertown, S.D., to Violet Lebert and Marten Fuerstenau. He attended Watertown schools and then served in the Air Force during the early 1950's.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Fuerstenau; five children, Virginia Barron, Lynn Fuerstenau, Jeff Fuerstenau, Connie Kay and Linda Bogle, all of Guymon; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Judy McCoulogh of Minneapolis, Minn.
