Ida Dockter, 71, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away May 8, 1994, in a Missoula, Montana hospital.
She was born Oct. 20, 1922, in Dawson, the daughter of Christ and Elizabeth (Hoff) Neumiller. She was united in marriage to George Dockter, Dec. 28, 1941, at Steele. He preceded her in death on Oct. 14, 1964. She moved to Frenchtown, Montana in 1969 then to St. Regis, Montana in 1970. Ida enjoyed playing bingo and was active in the Senior Citizens activities in St. Regis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters; and one brother.
She is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, Ronald and Connie, Bismarck; Daniel and Lisa, Fargo; Gary, and Jerry and Tina, all of St. Regis; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Shirley and Ben Sauter, Lolo, Mont.; Jane Jerset, Frenchtown; Linda and George Williams, Columbus, N.C.; and Diane and Valentine Walter, Missoula; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Emma Roemmick and Pauline Fondrick, both of Steele; and Lydia Blandin, Auburn, Washington
Services will be held at 10 a.m. MDT Friday at St. Regis Community Church, with burial in St. Regis Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Livingston, Malletta and Geraghty Funeral Home, St. Regis.
