He was born April 4, 1943, in Los Angeles, California, and died Thursday, October 10, 2013, at the age of 70. Son of Conrad Andrecht, deceased, and Jeanne (Jenkins) Andrecht Forrest of Linus Oakes [Roseburg, OR].

He attended Junipero Serra High School and graduated in 1961. He graduated from Arizona University at Tucson, Arizona, from the School of Pharmacy in June of 1968. He worked for several different pharmacies in Southern CA. He bought his own pharmacy in the City of Burbank, California and practiced for years.

After selling his pharmacy, he moved to Roseburg, Oregon, to be close to family. Bob worked for Fred Meyer and Albertsons and retired in 2005.

One of his greatest joys was fishing. His favorite annual fishing trip was with his mother and brother to Diamond Lake. He enjoyed attending plays and musicals. Bob also enjoyed traveling and visiting cousins in LA, Iowa, Oklahoma, Texas, and Florida. Some of his favorite trips included national and state parks, archeological digs, and historical sites of the Civil War.

At home he was a train enthusiast and Bob spent many hours on his hobby of putting together a large railroad depot, station, and village. His nieces and nephews enjoyed his hobby also, and when they were around, he had to watch them carefully, for he would be out of the "train engineer's" job.

Bob is survived by his mother, Jeanne Forrest; his brother, Steve Andrecht and wife Sue; nephew, Ray Andrecht and wife Jennifer; niece, July Gettys and husband, Dwayne, all from the Roseburg area; nephew, Tom Andrecht and wife, Debbie of Cle Elum, Washington; close cousin, Jared Jenkins and wife, Linda; great-nieces and nephews, William Andrecht, Jordan Andrecht, Grace and Pierce Gettys, Charis and Mariya Andrecht.

Bob was a friend to everyone and will be greatly missed by his neighbors, his numerous friends and his "Linus Oakes" buddies and friends.

There will be a viewing Monday, October 14, 2013, from Noon-6 pm. At Wilson's Chapel of the Roses. A funeral Mass will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church on October 15, 2013, at 12:10 PM. Burial will be at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery on Douglas Street in Roseburg, OR. For anyone wishing to honor his memory, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
