Victor G. Allen, Spanish War Veteran, Dies
Victor G. Allen, 84, Bigfork, a Spanish American War veteran, died Wednesday at Veterans Hospital, Fort Harrison, where he had been a patient since last December.
He was born Oct. 18, 1879, in Allen Springs, Calif. On July 10, 1898, he enlisted in the Washington Volunteers Corps in Pomeroy, Wash., and served as a private in Company C.
Surviving are his wife, Anna F. Allen of Bigfork and his son, Wayne Allen of Fort Benton.
Burial will be in Little Brown Church Cemetery.
