Wilma Jean Davis Phillips, 74, of Cloverport passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at the Breckinridge Memorial in Hardinsburg. Wilma was born May 19, 1941 to the late David Henry and Mable Smith Thurman in Breckinridge County. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Davis and brother Jim Thurman and sister Aileen Hurst. Leaving behind to mourn her passing, but celebrating the life she lived are her sons, Randall Williams, David (Hayley) Williams and Adam (Jennifer) Davis, all of Cloverport; daughters, Kelly Davis Scott, Cloverport, Amber (Michael) Burden of Falls of Rough and Debbie Weedman of Hancock County, KY; brother Murl (Kay) Thurman of Cloverport; sisters, Louise (T.L.) Basham of Laconia, IN, Mary Puckett of Lewisport, Betty Chappel of Hawesville, Gladys Smothers of Louisville and Dallas Thurman of Henderson; 26 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Visitation for Wilma will be Friday, October 30 at Burns Funeral Chapel from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm when a procession will leave for the cemetery. Interment will be at the New Clover Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Hardinsburg.
