Linda Denise Acker was born September 25, 1970 in New Orleans, Louisiana the daughter of Hayward and Linda Diane Acker.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Linda confessed her love for Christ at an early age and united with the St. James Baptist Church, El Dorado, Arkansas.
She departed this life on Friday, February 8, 2013 at her residence.
Linda leaves to cherish her loving memories, a daughter Rekenya Ann Acker and two grandsons, Keelyn Moore and Zayler Moore all of El Dorado, Arkansas; her grandparents, Lee and Ann Johnson; three great uncles, Levi(Mae)Hollins of Waukegan, Illinois, Haward(Lurlean)Hollins of Crossett, Arkansas and Timothy(Laura) Hollins of San Antonio, Texas; three great aunts,Naomi Johnson of Markham, Illinois, Glayds Thompson of Bastrop, Louisiana and Mildred Maddox of El Dorado, Arkansas;a host of other relatives and friends. A favorite cousin who she called Mom, Gwen Jones; a host of cousins she helped raise.
A Homegoing Celebration for Linda will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at First St. James Baptist Church, 523 Hawthorne, El Dorado, Arkansas with Rev. Roy C. Aaron officiating.
Interment will follow in the Lott Burgy Cemetery, El Dorado, Arkansas under the directions of the Sims Mortuary Staff.
Visitation at the funeral home will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2013 from 9:00a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday, February 15,from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m.
