Robert Charles Ahlrich, 84, of Port Charlotte FL, formerly of Decatur, died May 22, 2004 at Lexington Manor Nursing Home, Port Charlotte. Graveside services were held at DeLand cemetery.

Mr. Ahlrich was born June 14, 1919 in DeLand, s/o Albert Thomas and Bertha Mae Trimby Ahlrich. He married Norma June Wisegarver on February 4, 1945 in Enid OK. She died October 29, 1988. Survivors include two sons: Stephen L. of Placida FL; and Jerry of Louisville KY; a brother, Ray of DeLand; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Mr. Ahlrich was a member of Central Christian Church, Decatur; an electrician and member of IBEW Local 146. He was also a member of Monticello Masonic Lodge 58, Springfield Consistory, Ansar Shrine Temple of Springfield; and Shriner's Oriental Band. Memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children in St Louis MO.
