Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Green Batts, age 92 of Clinton passed away 9:40 PM on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the Clinton-Hickman County ICF Nursing Facility. Martha was a member of Clinton First United Methodist Church and Former Co-Owner of A&H Hardware Store in Clinton.

She was survived by her husband, William Batts of Clinton; 2 daughters, Kathy Ann (Ray) Pirtle of Dukedom, TN and Debbie Allison (Terry) Cohoon of Cadiz, KY; 6 grandchildren, Todd (Terri) Johnson of Germantown, TN; Heather (Corey) Pace of LaCenter, KY; Lori(Damon) Cortner of Cadiz, KY; Jessie Pirtle of Nashville, TN; Josh Pirtle of Martin, TN and Matt Alexander of Dresden, TN; and 12 Great Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her 1st husband, Harold Allison; Son, O.N. Alexander; Parents, Herbert and Dulcie Fields Green; Brother, Martel Green and Granddaughter, Katie Cohoon Scott.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at the Brown Funeral Home in Clinton with Rev. Stan Waldon and Rev. John Varden officiating. Burial will follow in the Springhill Cemetery.
