Section 31 was used as early as 1923 and as late as 1946. It is not clear whether that was the general burial area at that time for people without family plots, or if it was a potter’s field for burial of people with no funds. (There are 3 John Doe burials in the section.)

Today, there is no sign of any grave stones, if there ever were any. The area that was Section 31 is now parking for the office, and may extend under the office itself.
