He was born in the Dombey community east of Adams and was a farmer and rancher, retiring in 1955. He was a member of the Union Center Methodist Church and was an army sergeant during WWII. In June 1985, he moved to the Shattuck Convalescent Center.
Survivors include two brothers Clyde of Alva and Clellie of Loveland, CO sisters Lucille Potter of Adams; Matilda McAdams of Tyrone; Mildred Barby of Knowles and Letta Mae Barby also of Knowles. He was preceded in death by his parents and two infant brothers, Orvil and Lornezo.
Funeral services conducted from the Union Center Methodist Chruch with the Rev Roy Sloan officiating.
