Donley (Tick) Addis, age 85, of Jackson passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2007 in Chillicothe, Ohio. He was born in Lawrence Co., Ohio April 7, 1922 to the late Thomas and Beatrice (Donley) Addis. He was a former member of the Jackson Fire Department, construction worker and member of the Knights of Pythias.
He is survived by daughter, Becky Broaddus of Louisville, Ky.; grandchildren, Andy Leiterman of Hocking Hills, Ohio, Mike Leiterman of Fredricksburg, Va., step-grandson, Lee Cupp of Chillicothe, several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friend Marilyn Hill of Oak Hill.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by wife, Mina Marie, son, Jim, granddaughter, Megan Leiterman.
Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2007 at the Eisnaugle-Lewis Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Wiseman officiating burial in C.M. Cemetery. A Knights of Pythias service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Friends may call 11:00 a.m. to the time of the funeral at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
