Pvt Bennett "Bennie" Cornelius

Death: Aug. 31, 1918

Missing in action in Flanders Fields, World War I. Private, Company L, 120th Infantry Regiment, 30th Infantry Division, U.S. Army. Entered the service from Thomasville, North Carolina. Killed in action near Voormezeele during the Ypres-Lys Offensive; his body was not recovered from the battlefield.
