Mrs. Walter Bandy Dies Saturday, Funeral Tuesday

Funeral services for Mrs. Louisa Bell Bandy, 60, wife of Walter Bandy, who died Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at her home, 1508 North State street, will be conducted Tuesday afternoon.

Short rites at the Gerit funeral home at 1:15 o'clock will precede services at 2 o'clock at the Pleasant Hill Christian church, north of Litchfield. Rev. Earl Leffelman, Carlinville, pastor at the Pleasant Hill church, will be in charge and interment will be in Raymond city cemetery.

Mrs. Bandy was a daughter of James M. and Ala Wylder Driskell and was born in Jersey county, Jan. 28, 1885. When a child her parents moved to Zanesville township. She was united in marriage at Zanesville to Walter Bandy Dec. 25, 1905. The couple moved from there to Litchfield two years ago.

Besides her husband she is survived by five children: Pfc. Kenneth Bandy, San Francisco; Clyde Bandy, Litchfield; Miss Lucille Bandy, Wilmette, Ill.; Dale Bandy, Litchfield, and Mrs. Isabelle Cannon, Wilmette. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Margaret Ann Bandy and Clyde Bandy, Jr., of Litchfield.

Mrs. Bandy was a member of the Pleasant Hill church.
