Gorda Scott Creasy died... [unreadable]... Route 1. Disputanta, after years of declining health. Mr. Creasy was a native of Fluvanna County, a son of the late Jesse William and Sarah Elizabeth Creasy. [unreadable]…Shiloh Baptist Church in Prince George County, and before moving to make his home with his son near Disputanta two years ago, he had been for 25 years caretaker for Lee's Mill Pond. Surviving are: six daughters, Mrs. Lillian Cubbage, of Rt. 1, Stanley, Mrs. Gertrude Campbell, of Rt. 1, Petersburg, Mrs. America Scheid, of Pittsburgh. Pa.. Mrs. Betty Wallock, of Rt. 1, Disputanta, Mrs. Dollie Harrell, of Elizabeth City, N. C., and Mrs. Mary Gordon of Rt. 2, Disputanta; a son, Daniel S. Creasy, of Rt. 2, Disputanta; two brothers, E. V. Creasy, of Colonial Heights, and E. C. Creasy, of Roanoke; [unreadable] grandchildren, a number of great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the chaple of J. T. Morriss.
