Sally Ann Allen, 61, of Alanson, died April 10, 1996, at her residence.
Funeral was Saturday, April 13, at the Stone Funeral Home in Petoskey. Capt. Doug Yeck officiated, and burial was in Littlefield Township Cemetery, Alanson.
Mrs. Allen was born July 30, 1934, in Petoskey, the daughter of Howard and Wanda (Swadling) Baker. She grew up and attended school in Petoskey.
On March 24, 1951, she married Donald Allen in Harbor Springs, and he survives.
She and her husband lived in Cheboygan and managed the
Cheboygan Dairy until 1972, when they moved to Gaylord. They lived in Gaylord until 1993, when they moved to Alanson. While in Gaylord, Mrs. Allen worked at Standard Products as a press operator.
She is survived by her husband, Donald; two daughters, Mrs. Delbert (Debra) Crouch of Alpena, and Barbara Reynolds of Gaylord; brothers and sisters, Mrs. Glen (Rhoda) Leavitt of Carp Lake, Mrs. Lynn (Janet) Hite of Flint and Mrs. Ray (Holly) Hatfield of Paoli, Ind.; Sonny Baker of Alanson, Sidney Baker of Brutus, Mrs. Margaret Miltz of Alanson, Mrs. Mary Koerber of Columbus, Ohio, Ross Baker Sr. of Brutus, Mrs. Ray (Belinda) Wiggs of Pellston; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
