ELIZABETH MAE CORNWELL HALL, 87, of Wayne, W.Va., widow of Guy Hall, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went to be with the Lord at her daughter's home on Tuesday, March, 28, 2006. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2006, at Morris Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Ray Williamson. Burial will follow at Patrick Cemetery, Wayne. She was born April 10, 1918, in Wayne, a daughter of the late Garland B. and Martha Dean Cornwell. Elizabeth was a homemaker and Baptist by faith. Her brother, Edgar Cornwell also preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Finley and husband Tommy of Lavalette, W.Va.; a granddaughter, April Dawn Williamson and husband Phil Ray of Prichard, W.Va.; a grandson, Elijah Ray Williamson (the love of her life); a brother, Gorman Cornwell and wife Mamie; two sisters-in-law, Roka Hall and Lucille Cornwell, along with a host of relatives and dear friends. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2006, at Morris Funeral Home, Wayne. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family would like to express special thanks and appreciation to everyone who made numerous visits and for their concerns and prayers for her.
