Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Lenna Barbee, 65, mother of Mrs. W.H. McMahan of Chandler, were held August 14 at the Chandler Baptist Church. A resident of Gladewater, she died in a Tyler hospital early Friday morning.
Rev. A.W. Buie officiated at the services and burial was in the Concord Cemetery.
Mrs. Barbee is survived by her husband, J.C. Barbee of Gladewater; two daughters, Mrs. Jasper Buie of Dallas and Mrs. W.H. McMahan of Chandler; two sons, Roy Gilcrease of Daisetta, Texas and J.C. Barbee Jr. of Longview; two brothers, Henry White of Borger and Mack White of Gainesville; two sisters, Mrs. M.L. Dickerson of Graham, Oklahoma and Mrs. Minnie Welch of Chico, California; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
