Charles Alexander
ARCOLA, Ill. — Charles Everett Alexander, 73, Arcola, died at 8 a.m. today at his home after suffering a heart attack.
Funeral services are tentatively scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at the Shrader funeral home here with Rev. [??] officiating. Burial will be in Arcola cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Alexander was born Nov. 16, 1890, in Brown County, Ind., the son of Charles and Rose Alexander. He married Lera Gregory who preceded him in death in 1934.
Surviving are five sons, Glenn, Mt. Prospect; William, Arcola; Charles Everett Jr., Santa Barbara, Calif.; Richard, Kalamazoo, Mich.; and John, Wichita, Kan.; three daughters, Mrs. Juanita Davis, Concordia, Kan.; Mrs. Elsie Shores, Mattoon; and Mrs. Helen Bird, Tarkin, Mo.; a brother, George, Centerton, Ind., and 20 grandchildren.
