---Robert Allen, 45, of 93 Poplar St., Battle Creek, and formerly of Eckford Township, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 1988 at Community Hospital in Battle Creek.
---He had been the driver in an automobile accident on southbound M-66 north of Baseline Road in Battle Creek.
---Funeral arrangements are pending at Court-Putnam Funeral Home in Marshall.

---Robert L. Allen, 45, of 93 Poplar Street, Battle Creek, died in an auto accident on Nov. 23, 1988. He was born July 29, 1943 to Delbert and Vena (Yaudes) Allen in Marshall. He attended school in Homer and graduated from Marshall High School. He was formerly employed with the Michigan Livestock Exchange in Battle Creek.
---Mr. Allen is survived by a brother, Thomas Allen of Galesburg; an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Allen of Reed City; and several cousins.
---Services will be held at 1:30 today at the Court-Putnam Funeral Home with Mr. Stanley W. day of the Marshall Church of Christ officiating. Assisting as bearers will be: Keith Foreman, Terry Foreman, Brad Gordinier and Richard Barrington. Interment will follow at West Eckford Cemetery.
