August was born in Sweden and had immigrated in 1871 at age 29 and was a farmer. Nellie had been born in Massachusetts and children in California.
In 1910 he was still residing in Igo, age 62, wife Nellie was 53 and children in the household at the time were John H. and wife Vera, August S. and Herman E. Also in the household was grandson Vernal E. R. Anderson then age 9 mos.
