Ericka Jo Lynn Agee, 16, of Topeka, great-niece of Glen and Janel Hawkins of Valley Center, died Aug. 27, 2004, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Service was Sept. 1 at Jefferson Assembly of God. Burial was at Meriden Cemetery.

She was born May 11, 1988, at Topeka, the daughter of Robert N. Agee and Teresa L. Weiss. She was a junior at Jefferson West High School. She was a member of the FCCLA, debate and golf teams. She had been in the play "Godspell" at the school, loved learning had had a 4.0 grade point average throughout her schooling. She planned to become a teacher and missionary to Russia. She was a member of the Jefferson Assembly of God youth group, where she was a youth leader. She had completed the Stars program at the church. She was a member of Oakland Christian church in Topeka, where she served as a praise and worship team leader. At her church, she also taught vacation Bible school, primary-age children in Sunday school and sang solos at worship services. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jim Krallman.

Survivors include her parents, Rev. Robert and Teresa Agee of Topeka; brother, Justin; sisters, Amber, Jamie; grandparents, Wayne and Donna Agee of Lakeway, Texas, Pat Krallman of Topeka; aunts, uncles and cousins including Bruce and Tiffany Agee and Bryson and Matthieu of Horseshoe Bay, Texas, Jill Agee and Jennifer and Julie of Lakeway, Texas, Larry and Brenda O'Hara and Jon, Nick and Sarah of Topeka, Randy and Diane Weiss and Amanda, Jason and Ashley of Michigan, Martin Weiss and Annette Licktieg and Jacob, Aaron Niesa, Clinton and Brianne of Overland Park, Matt Krallman of Kansas, Donna and Bennie Munoz and Melissa, Joshua and Jonnathan of Topeka; and godmother, Sue Paul of Topeka.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the Ericka Agee Memorial Fund, to be designated later by the family, in care of Davidson Funeral Home.
