Dorothy H. Ball, 79, of Liberty, died Monday, September 2, 2002, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, September 5, 2002, at Allison Funeral Services. Interment will follow at Cooke Cemetery.
Mrs. Ball was a native of Tomball and a former resident of Shreveport, Tulsa, and Houston before returning to Liberty in 1986. She was a homemaker, a member of First Baptist Church, and enjoyed sending cards of encouragement to others.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Louis and Evelyn Robinson Hardin.
She is survived by her husband, Emmett B. Ball of Liberty; son, Bert Ball of Mineola, TX; daughter, Becky Griffin of Poetry, TX; brother, Louis Hardin, Jr. of Onalaska, TX; and 4 grandchildren.
