Funeral services for Thomas Adams were held from Holy Family Catholic Church, Rev. Owens J. Bennett officiating.
Mr. Adams was born in Hamilton,Canada in 1856 and came to Rockland with his parents at the age of 4.
He was united in marriage to Mary McCarthy in 1881 who died a few years later and in 1893 he was married to Mrs. Rose Guilbault.
Mr. Adams was one of the pioneers of Rockland having driven the state from there for many years in the early day.s
He came to Ontonagon in 1990. Mr. Adams, who was about 80 years old, had been in failing health for some time. Death occurred at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Roosen. Surviving are his daughter, and a stepson Edmund Guilbault - Ontonagon.
Interment was in the Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Leonard Squance, William Koppari, Charles Mooney, Thomas Ross, Neil Black, Elmer Mongeau.
