Emory C Baker, 93, of 4 Main Street, Arendtsville,died Saturday, Dec. 13 at Michael Manor, 741 Chambersburg Road, Gettysburg. He was born August 14, 1904 in Fairfield, a son of the late John and Mary Cecil Baker.
He had been a former employee of the Gettysburg Borough, the former C H Musselman Co., Pet Milk, Inc., Biglerville, and retired from the Littlestown Shoe Co.
He attended Heritage Assembly of God Church, Gettysburg.
His first wife, the former Madeline Lightner, died in 1966. He is survived by his wife, the former Shirley A Shafer; one daughter, Dolores Cool, Gettysburg; four sons, Ray Baker, Gettysburg, Eugene Baker, Calif., Charles Baker, York Springs, and Bruce Baker, Hanover; two step-daughters, Hope Baker, Biglerville, and Brenda Shull, Arendtsville; three step-sons, Melvin Shull, Mechanicsburg, Daniel Shull, Gettysburg, and David Shull, Bonneauville; 20 grandchildren, and seven step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00, Wednesday, Dec. 17 from the Dugan Funeral Home, 111 South Main St., Bendersville, with the Rev. Jeff K Wilson and the Rev. Terry Lamers officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Fairfield.
