Glenn Grady Sipes he was the son of Buford and Janita (McKnight) Sipes born Aug.10,1947 in Antlers,Okla. and passed away Dec. 22,2006 Antlers,Okla. He was burial Dec.29,2006 Antlers City Cemetery, Antlers,Oklahoma.He had Cancer (Agent Orange cause from herbicides that was used in the Vietnam War).He served in the Service from 1962-1970 He was a retried SGT.US MARINE and was a VETERAN of the VIETNAM WAR.While serving his country, he was awarded the Meritorious Unit Citation, The Republic Of Vietnam Civil Action Ribbon, the Rifle Sharpshooter Badge & the Good Conduct Medal.
He was unable to work outside the home due to his service injuries, but he did enjoy fishing when he could go. Glenn survived by parents Buford and Janita Sipes of Antlers, Okla., a daughter Tammy Sipes of Granite Falls,NC. 1 brother Johnny Sipes, Antlers,OK. and 1 Sister Amanda Pauline Sipes) Reed of Granite Falls, NC. 2 nephews of NC.
