Sarah J. Adams, "Sally", nee Manning, 72 - of Scullville, died suddenly on Tuesday, November 20, 2007. Born and raised in Pleasantville, she was a graduate of Pleasantville High School and Stockton State College. Sally lived most of her life in Egg Harbor Township.
Sarah is survived by her husband of 52 years Clayton M. Adams, daughter Lynda and son Edward and his wife Mary, all of Scullville, and a brother Robert Manning of Smithville, along with many nieces and nephews. Sarah was predeceased by two sisters, Ruth Remeis, Betty Allbright, and a brother, George Manning Jr.
Sarah retired from the Prudential Property and Casualty after 23 years of service. She was an avid birder, gardener, paper artist, and excelled in all the she endeavored to do.
Services will be held Saturday 12:30pm at the Middleton-Stroble & Zale Funeral Home 304 Shore Road, Somers Point. Friends and relatives are invited to attend her viewing Saturday from 11:30-12:30pm at the funeral home. Burial Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor.
