Donald Leroy Archer, 78, of Middletown, passed away on October 19th at his residence in Middletown. He was born on July 25, 1936 in Indianapolis, Indiana and resided most of his life in Indiana.
Donald graduated from Caltech University.
He retired as a self employed Engineer.
He was a member of Columbus Ave Church of Christ.
Donald is survived by his loving spouse whom he married October 22, 1984, Debbie (Richardson) Archer of Middletown; children, Cynthia (Dean) Whippo, Michael (Dian) Archer, Jennifer Eubanks, Matthew (Donna) Archer, Susan Archer, John (Debra) Archer, David Archer, and Donovan Archer; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive

He was preceded in death by parents, Donald Dale and Vernie Alberta (Woodward) Archer; brothers, David Archer and Ronald Archer; sister, Shirley Archer
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson.
Services will be Tuesday, at 6:30 pm at the funeral home with Gary Meeker, Ryan Cox, Jimmy Hodges, Jim Harrison, and Charlie Soden officiating.
Burial will take place in the Miller Cemetery-Overton County, TN
