George Wesley Andruss, 83, former resident of Seymour and retired druggist, died in Fort Worth.
Services were held at the First Methodist Church in Seymour with Rev. David Binkley, pastor and Rev. W.R. Karkalits, pastor of First Baptist officiating.
Masons were in charge of the burial.
Mr. Andruss moved to Seymour in 1912. He took Mr. Wood's place at the Baylor Durg Store. He and Mr. Downing took care of the pharmaceutical department. Mr. Andruss has been in this work the greater part of his life, and he has been with drug stores in Seymour for a good part of that time. Mr. Andruss and his wife left Baylor County after the tragic death of their son and returned in 1944. He moved to Fort Worth in 1960.
He was a Methodist and a Mason.
Survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
