Mandell T. Bosley
Mandell T. Bosley Sr., of Berryville, formerly of Mount Storm, W.Va., died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, at his home.
Mr. Bosely was born Nov. 15, 1930, in Mount Storm, the son of LeRoy Newton and Rose Ellen (Gay) Bosley. He was retired from General Motors in Baltimore.
He was an Army veteran, having served in the Korean War.
He was a member of the Abraham Lincoln Post No. 6735 VFW in Mount Storm and the Mount Storm United Methodist Church. He was a former member of the Mount Storm Volunteer Fire Department.
He was married for 54 years to Evelyn L. (Hanlin) Bosley.
Surviving with his wife are two sons, Mandell T. Bosley, Jr. of Winchester and Timothy N. Bosley of Martinsburg, W.Va.; two daughters, Brenda L. Baker of Baltimore and Rosemary E. Parrish of Winchester; one brother, David A. Bosley of Keyser, W.Va.; one sister, Elinor Rose Colbert of Manchester, Md.; two granddaughters; and a step-grandson.
A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Storm United Methodist Church with Pastor Marc Roberson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Smith Funeral Home, Keyser, W.Va., as well as at the church one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in the Alkire Cemetery, Mount Storm, where graveside military honors will be accorded.
