HENRIETTA MARIE 'BLONDIE' ADAMS, age 92, of Wisconsin Rapids, formerly of Plover, found peace on February 25, 2017, surrounded by her family, after a long fulfilling life.

A Prayer Service will be held at 1:30 PM Thursday, March 2, 2017 at St. Bronislava Catholic Church, Plover. Father Ed Shuttleworth will officiate. A Private Family Burial will be held. Friends may call from 4:00-5:30 PM Wednesday March 1, 2017 at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids and at St. Bronislava Church on Thursday from 1:00-1:30 PM.

Mrs. Adams was born August 17, 1924, in Stevens Point, WI to the late Harry and Verona (Groholski) Buza. She attended local schools. She married William "Willie" Adams on October 12, 1942, at St. Bronislava Church. He preceded her in death on January 4, 1991. The couple settled in Plover, owned and operated Willie's bar for 18 years and Adams Excavating and Trucking for 19 years until retirement. Mrs. Adams also worked at Normington's, Nekoosa Paper Mill and Preway in Wisconsin Rapids for several years. She was a lifetime member of the St. Bronislava Rosary Society, former member of the Plover Library Board and Plover Area Business Association. She enjoyed life throughout her many years in spite of some hardships and sadness. She was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren, DaMara and Adam, who could always put a smile on her face. She cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and "Puppy" (Benny). She enjoyed music, especially her grandson's piano playing, polka music and Elvis; going to the casino, bingo, her Schnauzers, walking and going out for lunches with friends. In her earlier years, she enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, bike riding, going Up North and trips to Las Vegas. She will always remain close in the hearts of the ones she left behind.

Survivors include one daughter, Marilyn (David) Pryor of Wisconsin Rapids and grandchildren, DaMara Pryor of Milwaukee and Adam Pryor of Wisconsin Rapids; one sister, Lorraine Trierweiler of Marshfield and one brother-in-law, Leonard Szymanski of Stevens Point.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, William Jr., her husband, brother Chester Buza and sister-in-law, Marge Buza, brother-in-law, Edward Trierweiler, sister Pearl Szymanski and an infant granddaughter.

We wish to express our most sincere and heartfelt thanks to each of our relatives, friends and neighbors, who helped us though this difficult time in our lives of the sad loss of our dear mother and grandmother. Special thanks to Dr. Scott Dickman and staff for all the year of exceptional care given. Aspirus Hospice team for all their comfort care and compassion. Many thanks to the Renaissance staff for the wonderful years of care and friendship and especially to all who went above and beyond during Blondie's last few weeks- you treated her as if she were your very own mother; Father Ed Shuttleworth for his caring service, and to those who helped us in any other way, we will never forget your expressions of love.

Gone is the face we loved so dear, silent is the voice we loved to hear; Too far away for sight or speech, but not too far for our prayers to reach. We miss you mom.
