Mrs. Ella Irene Allison passed away at Bronson Hospital on August 29, 2010, with family by her side. She was born in Scotts, the daughter of the late Kyle and Jennie Parsons. She leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Robert (Sharon) Allison; two daughters Barbara (David) Ulrich and Jean (Kit) Dahl; 11 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; and a sister-in-law, Betty; as well as many nieces, nephews, and good friends. She was also preceded in death by her husband James Jim; a daughter, Cheryl; a grandson, David; a great-grandson, Cameron; and a sister, Juanita. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed. She enjoyed spending time with family, playing bingo and trips to the casino. She also loved nature and enjoyed camping and fishing with her family. She was a nurses aide for many years, and took great pride in helping to serve others. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a burial in Boughton Cemetery (Pavilion Township) will be held on Friday, September 3, 2010, at 6 pm. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010, at 2:00pm, at the Centennial Clubhouse on 22nd St. in Vicksburg, MI.
