Joe Rex Burkett Bledsoe, 85, of Tompkinsville, KY. passed away Monday, December 12th, while in the company of family members, at Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital, in Bowling Green, KY.
Rex was born in Tompkinsivlle, KY. on December 3, 1926, a son of the late Ada (Guinn) and Francis Bledsoe. He married Delma Emberton on September 20, 1947 and was a member of the Berra Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a Truck Driver for the Pepsi Cola Company.
Rex is survived by his wife, Delma Emberton Bledsoe,
Three daughters, Stacy Burks, of Tompkinsville, KY.; Debbie Ferguson, of Tompkinsville, KY.; Janice Conard, of Richmond, KY.
One son, Joe Bledsoe, of Bowling Green, KY.
Rex is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 3 Step-Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, 1 Step-Great Grandchild.
He is preceded in death by one daughter Diana Ruth Bledsoe, and three sisters, Pauline Myatt, Irene Platt, and Ree Biggerstaff.
Funeral Services at Yokley-Trible Funeral Home, at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 15th, with Darrick Proffitt officiating.
Visitation Wednesday, 2-9 P.M. and Thursday 6AM-2PM. at Yokley-Trible Funeral Home.
Burial in Harlans Cross Road Cemetery.
