Amelie Fritz was the youngest daughter of Philipp Jakob Friedrich Fritz and Caroline Bofinger. She married David Abraham of Clifton, Arizona, in 1880, and moved with him to Silver City in 1883 where they operated the Southern Hotel. She died at Glendale, California, and her body was returned to Silver City for burial.
