He was born April 16, 1916 in Haverstraw, NY to the late Carmine and Antonia Antonelli.
Michael was the owner of the Antonelli Texaco Service Station on Broadway and Jefferson for forty-seven years. He joined the Army Air Force on October 23, 1942, where he was assigned to a B-24 group and became a radar man. He was sent to the Pacific front and was discharged in October 1945.
Michael is survived by several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife Veronia "Vonnie", two sisters, and four brothers.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home in Haverstraw. Michael's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peters Church in Haverstraw.
Interment will follow in F.W. Loescher Veteran's Cemetery.
