Gordon Darrell Anderson, 80 years of age, formerly of Somerset, Kentucky, departed this life on Monday, October 3rd, 2011 in Naples, Florida.
He was born on February 8th, 1931 in Oakdale, Tennessee, son of the late Ray R. Anderson and Vivian A. Medlock Anderson. Gordon served in the United States Air Force and was a Korean War Veteran. He graduated Somerset High School, Class of 1949. He had 30 years with RCA from 1956 until 1986. He traveled extensively with his job, throughout the world and attended the High Street Baptist Church in Somerset, Kentucky.
Gordon was survived by two brothers, J.B. (and Thresa) Anderson and Bill (and Shirley) Anderson; two sisters, Frances (and Louie) Tilford and Barbara Jean (and Larry) Johnson; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Anderson and Vivian Anderson; one brother, James Roy Anderson; and one sister, Betty Talentio.
A memorial services were held at a later date at the Crab Orchard Cemetery in Morgan County, Tennessee.
