SOUTH BELOIT - Orland D. Adams, 59, of the South Bluff Trailer Court, died Monday in Beloit Memorial Hospital.
He was born on June 3, 1917, in Trempealeau County, Wis., the son of Thomas and Charlotte Amburn Adams. He was employed as a welder at the Beloit Corporation.
Survivors include one son, Donald of Cloister, N.J., a daughter, Susan (Mrs. Sherman) Pearson of Honolulu, Hawaii, a step-son, James Clott of Rodell, Ca.; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers Orville of South Beloit and Orlando of Hammond, Ind.; four sisters, Mrs. Ruby Cruse and Mrs. Ortensa Hendricks, both of South Beloit, and Alfrieda (Mrs. Herman) Siebel and Myrtle (Mrs. Robert) Steller, both of Beloit. He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas, and a step-son.
Services wil be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Rosman, Uehling, Kinzer Blackhawk Chapel, with the Rev. Peter H. A. Humlie officiating. Burial will be in Rockton Cemetery, Visitation will be Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Blackhawk Chapel.
