Richard Don "Rick" Anderson, 60, of Oakwood passed away at his home on Monday (Aug. 30, 2010).
He was born on March 8, 1950 in Centralia to Robert and Virginia Tucker Anderson. He is survived by his wife, Carla Anderson; a daughter, Rickie Anderson; a son, Kristopher (Taffie) Anderson; his mother, Virginia Anderson; a brother, Steve (Joan) Anderson; two grandchildren, Herrick and Rowen; two step grandchildren, Trenton and Peyton; several nieces and nephews and a great-nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father and his mother-in-law, Billie Parsons.
He served with the Danville Police Department for 27 years, retiring in 2001.
