Eurma Ruth Austin, 74, of Clinton died at 6:03 p.m. Thursday (Aug. 24, 2006) at home.
Mrs. Austin was born Feb. 19, 1932, in Wapella, a daughter of William Carl and Edna Gregory Bray. She married Martin Duane Austin on May 29, 1951 in Clinton. He survives.
Survivors also include a son, Danny Austin of DeWitt; three daughters, Norma Jean Clark of Erie, Brenda Griffith of Cleveland, Tennessee and Beverly Palmer of Clinton; a sister, Genivieve Dyer of DeWitt; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by two sons and four brothers.
Mrs. Austin was a member and piano player at Woodlawn Church of God and enjoyed music, crocheting and gardening.
