Mrs. John Cook, who was stricken with paralysis Saturday at her home in Oakley township, died there at 9 o'clock Monday night. She was sixty- five years old, and the mother of Mrs. George McDaniels of Decatur Officer and Mrs. McDaniels had visited Mrs. Cook Saturday and when they returned she seemed much better. Monday noon word was received that she was dying and Mrs. McDaniels hurried to her bedside and was there when the end came. Mrs. Cook
was well known in Oakley and Long Creek townships and had many friends.
