OAKLEY, DIES IN HOME
Claude Albert Connett 71 a farmer in the Decatur area for several years died at 7p.m. yesterday in his home near Oakley.
A resident of the Decatur area for 23 years he was a member of the Methodist Church.
Mr. Connett was born near Mt. Hope Kan, Feb. 20 1884, a son of Richard and Mary Elizabeth Connett. He was married to
Pearl Geddes in Decatur June 13, 1906.
Besides his wife he leaves a son Raymond of Elsmore Kan, a
daughter Mrs. Doryle Trummel of Oakley and a sister Mrs. Maude McVey of Stafford Kan. Four grandchildren also survive.
Two brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Oakley
Brick church. Burial will be in Cross cemetery near Oakley.
