William Roy Adamson, 92, Olney, died Friday evening at Richland Memorial Hospital.

Services will be conducted at the Chapel of Zirkle Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Mushrush and the Rev. Ivan Lirely officiating. Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Park.

A retired farmer of the Claremont community where he was born June 18, 1889, Mr. Adamson was the son of William H. and Ida Mae Beadle Adamson.

He was first married Dec. 27, 1911, to Floy Shafer, who preceded him in death on Nov. 23, 1967. He married Helen M. Stevens on Oct. 11, 1975. She survives.

Mr. Adamson was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Olney.

Other survivors include a son, William H. Adamson, Olney; two step-sons, John Stevens, Pawnee, and Tom Stevens, Olney; two daughters, Mrs. Howard (Nola Mae) Mushrush, rural Sumner, and Mrs. Estelle (Helen) Uhl, Olney; 10 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his first wife, he was preceded in death by seven sisters.
