GOLCONDA, Ill. — Wilma "Sissy" Emerson, 82, of Golconda died Saturday at her home.
She is survived by one daughter, Betty Garrison of Golconda; one son, William Emerson Jr. of Mayfield; two sisters, Alma Rumsey of Golconda and Aleatha Boyd of Paducah; one brother, Kenneth Jones of Hinckley; four grandchildren
and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Emerson; six brothers and one sister. Her parents were Roy and Gertrude Smock Jones.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Aly Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Canaan Cemetery. The Rev. Roy Baker will officiate. Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
