Louise Auble, 83, Lifelong Burlington Resident Dies
BURLINGTON - Louise Meyer Auble, 83, of Burlington died early Monday, February 6, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Elgin. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p. m. in St. John's Lutheran Church, Burlington, Rev. D. S. Ryding of Sycamore officiating. Burial was in Burlington Union cemetery. Mrs. Auble was born March 24, 1877, the daughter of the late Henry and Fredericka; Bernner Meyer of Burlington. She resided in the Burlington area all of her life. Her first husband, Benjamin Van Dusen, died in 1915. She later married Burt Auble, who died in May, 1953. She Was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Flora Mott and Mrs. Marie Petersen of Burlington; a son, Harold Van Dusen of Burlington; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie ??? of Burlington and Mrs. Bertha Nevitt of Sycamore. Mrs. Auble was preceded in death by a daughter, Blanche; a sister, Mrs. Marie Carlson; and a brother, William Meyer.
