Elizabeth was the wife of Benjamin W. Bruce. The couple came to Shelby Co Illinois from Tennessee around 1829-30 and lived the rest of their lives in the Sand Creek area. They raised a family of at least nine children(eight are listed below). Elizabeth's birth date is calculated from death date and age at death, which was 69 ys, 1 mo, 27 da. Not sure if she was born in North Carolina or Tennessee.
