Never very robust, she early felt the weight of years, and for 12 weeks had been confined to her bed, unable to help herself. She passed peacefully to her reward Sunday about 10 o'clock p.m. at the home of her son, Edward, on Oak Street.
The funeral was held Thursday at 1 o'clock at the house and at 2 o'clock at St. Paul's Evangelical church, Bloomingdale, Rev. Plassman conducting the service.
The pall bearers were all old friends and neighbors, Messrs. Henry Grupe, John Pauling, Chas. Leiseberg, Wm. Randecker, Chris.
Burial at Bloomingdale cemetery. Besides her children, Mrs. Ackman is survived by 3 brothers, Wm. Liepitz in Kansas, George in Itasca, and Gustav in Minnesota; also one sister, Mrs. Bertha Dohl in Kansas.
