PETERSBURG - Mrs. Martha V. Browne, 84, of Petersburg died at 12:40 p,m. Tuesday following a long illness. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Methodist church with burial in Bethel Cemetery south of Tallula. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Sarah [sic] Gillmore of Petersburg, Mrs. Nancy A. Parkinson of Palmyra; three sons, Rodus Browne of St. Louis, Edward of Pleasant Plains, Gerald of Greenview; two sisters; Mrs. Henry Yates of Akron, Ohio, Miss Anne Rhodus of Franklin, Ken; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
